Kuya Mario was telling me yesterday that no less than the principal arranged Uno's things back to his bag. He was not allowed to enter the school kasi.

So I confronted Uno.

mama: Bakit si Teacher Sally pa ang nag-ayos ng gamit mo? Di ka nahiya?

uno: E hindi naman niya inayos mabuti sa bag ko e. pinasok niya lang.

So kasama na sa duties ng principal nowadays is ayusin ang gamit ng students at DAPAT ayusin niya mabuti! Terror pa ako niyan sa bahay ha. Panu pa if I was just a soft spoken mellow mama! Lol

Yesterday was a good day. I kicked Uno and Dos to the other side and they were happy playing with the PC there.

Tres was kicked also to his playmates' house. I was alone with Quatro for about 3 hours!

As I was feeding her her merienda, I noticed that she was irritated with me when I take a bit of time in spooning her meal to her mouth. As in grrrr... na reklamo! So I started singing her fave song, "twingkle twinkle little star" And as I sang she was nodding her head off and rambles with... "Tatatatatata..."

I urged her to say Mama and Papa to no avail! She was just happy nodding her head and singing "Tatatatata..."

I kicked the last maid out last October 1, 2010.

Yes, I am alone! There are moments in the day that I want to scream my head off, but those are brief moments. Because I am so happy being with my kids and being able to take care of them by MYSELF! Woo-hoo!

A great achievement in my book since I really don't know any household chore except ironing clothes. I detest cooking and abhor washing dishes! But times change, people change, I change. Though my hands and feet are starting to dry up(need to remember putting on moisturiser!), I'm quite happy on how the house is being managed. A bit of dirt here and there, but the house is liveable. Kids are okay, healthier and fat in my eyes. And now, really, I can say I know everything that's going on in my house.

I do want a maid still. It gets tiring. But I'll enjoy this bliss first. I'll wait for the right one than snap up the next available one. K1 is starting to help me out on weekends. He's tasked to change the sheets and wash the lunch dishes.

K2 always helps out. And I am thankful I have him to help me out at times. K1 can be lazy.

A lady called me up on my Globe mobile asking me if we can attend a Chuckie event on September 4. Of course I said yes!

After one hour, I received in my email a ticket for said event. I started preparing the 2 kids things for the next day. I went down to get something but I tripped going to the bathroom. I sprained my feet! I put some ice on it and prayed hard that I can walk the next day so I can bring the 2 kids on the Chuckie event. They'll be devastated if they can't attend!

I was able to walk(a bit) and we went to SM Megamall. Cinema 1 was packed with kids and their parents. We went to the registration booth. I had to prod the two rather hard to check out the photo booth. I'm glad they did, they had a nice photo. When it was time for the screening, people lined up. I grabbed some huge popcorns and some nestea. Lo and behold, they were handing people who come in the cinema with free popcorn and Chuckie drinks. Waaaahh! No problem, at least now I know. Next time I'll be the wiser. It was 12nn so I was just scared the 2 boys will rant inside that they are hungry.

The host(too hyper for my taste) gave some spiel then Chuckie went out. My boys were thrilled. Dustin won a gift pack. They explained how Winema works and off we went to play the game. It was a blast!

After the games, Despicable Me was shown in 3D. A first 3D movie for my 2 kids so I know it was a nice event to attend to.

I redeemed earlier my Avon winnings. I was able to text to 2929 the promo code last August 6 and I won 2 250ml lotions.

I got to Avon Pritil Branch around 10:35am. I was referred to 2 people first before finally talking to the manager. Total waiting time - 35 minutes. The manager deleted the text message and asked me to fill up a form. He gave me these bottles. Love the smell!

Just want to share my adobo carbonara recipe. It's not easy to think of easy to prepare meals for my 3 boys who takes a VERY long time to eat! This saved my sanity for the days meal!

I saw an adobo flakes spaghetti online. Just tweaked this to my taste.

You will need:
Pasta
500 grams spaghetti noodles - cooked
*my spaghetti cooked to my liking in about 8 minutes. save some of the pasta water, a cup will do. I put in a teeny amount of oil in the boiling water.



Sauce
250 grams of chicken, cook it adobo style. save the oil. we will use this as base for the carbonara. Flake the adobo.
* 2 of my kids have G6PD so I cook adobo without the soy sauce. I use 1 tsp of salt instead.
1 tbsp canola oil
2- 3 small pieces garlic, minced (my kids will pick at their food at the first sight of garlic bits)
2 egg whites
3 tbsps grated Eden cheese
250ml Nestle cream
pinch of black pepper

1. Put in 3 tbsp of adobo oil and 1 tbsp of canola oil. Place adobo flakes(reserve a small amount for presentation purposes)
2. Add garlic after a minute.
3. Constantly blend everything on the wok. Place spaghetti noodles in. Add the pasta water.
4. Work in egg whites with grated cheese. Blend. Blend Blend.
5. Add cream. And pepper to taste.
6. Place in serving plate. Add the remaining adobo flakes on top.

Quite happy that the kids love it. Easy to prepare and very easy on the budget.
The pasta is just 30php, chicken is 35php, eggs are 10php, garlic - oil - pepper - cheese 20php, cream is 35php. 3 kids, 2 adults ate.

I haven't updated this blog for quite awhile. Been busy.


I had my baby last June 3 at Chinese General Hospital. Was out the door by June 5. I harassed my OB to let me go home, hospital bill is piling up!

My favorite Aunt went to Manila to help me out. You see my mother is one big case. Oh she is a helpful one, but when the time comes you need her the most - let's just say I prefer the hired help. No upbraiding in the end. They're paid for it. I was brought up with it so pardon me for hating it now that I am 30+.

Baby Daphne Nicole is healthy and well. She gained almost 2lbs on her first month and 4 lbs in the second month. Tagged as the "negra", I'm happy that she's getting fairer each day. And honestly, who cares. Lots of girls right now are more fairer than me and they're not mestisas. I'll drown her in glutathione when she gets older lol.

Oh and my cousin is pregnant. I think as old as Daphne. Quite a case but I still love her. She'll hear the hurtful litany from her family. I'd rather be in neutral ground. My papa taught me not be judgmental. I was when I was younger but life is teaching me not to be. Karma!

I'm looking for a job this month. Hopefully I get around in sending my resumes out. I need one. I was in SM last week and was drooling on the baby girl dresses. I can't buy one since it's not on my budget. So I need to get my ass back in the work force so I can buy things I like.
