My list

Hi!

I am going to post my list of things I will bring to the hospital when I am going to have my CS. I hope this will help you and most especially my sister and brother. So when the time comes, I've been a good ate to them lol.

This is my last baby, luckily it's a girl! Only the colors of the clothes changed but these are usually what I bring for me and my baby. By the way, I don't bring anything for my husband or mother. Chinese General Hospital is really close to my parents house so they can go home for what they need.

Remind my OB to use Opsite.

Things I bring for me,
1. Pajamas. I don't like dasters. I prefer jammies. I bought 3 pairs on my 2nd pregnancy and up to now, i can still use it. I also get so big whenever I get pregnant so I get my jammies from the men section.

2. Undies and Binder. Usually I take along the biggest panties i have. So the garter won't grip on my binder. I also don't bring any bras. I prefer to just cover them with lampin. The jammies are too loose anyways. I just use the lampins when I have milk already. Easier to wash too. Most of the time I'll be lying down on the bed so I don't like the constriction of bras.

3. Toiletries. Facial Scrub (I like the scrubs with beads as I feel they make my face cleaner.) Safeguard (for washing hands, bimpo and etc.) PH Care (for down under, I don't take a bath for 2 weeks. Sorry eeewww, but that's our family's pamahiin. I've put up with it and no bad thing happened to me. I don't also smell yucky since I do sponge bath everyday. I also do not leave an airconditioned room, lol) Toothbrush and Toothpaste (clean smile for visitors!)

4. Kikay Kit. Brush, clips and face powder. I only use this when I am about to go home already. Sans that, It's bare face me all the way! Lol.

5. Handphone and charger. I need to inform everybody for an update. Lucky me, I came from a family that I am well loved and cherished. Everybody wants to be updated on my condition and the baby's. I also use the handphone as a music player so I can listen to tunes to while away the hours. But usually I like to sleep. And since I am LDR since 3rd child, hubby wants to be well informed. lol

6, ATMs. Obviously I cannot leave the hospital without paying lol. I need to bring this and sometimes need to withdraw a bit everyday as there is a daily maximum withdrawable amount. I usually put my valuables in a pouch and put it under my pillow. Security purposes.

7. Sanitary pads. My mom recommended maternity pads on my 1st born. But I don't find anything special about it. I use my usual pads, these days - Charmee with wings.

8. Admitting letter from OB. So I can get a room immediately. Usually I stay overnight and have my CS at 7am. My OB said it is cheaper that way.

9. Marriage Contract (original and xerox) and ballpen. For birth certificate filing.

10. Philhealth. (I cannot avail this for my last delivery since I forgot to pay our 2nd and 3rd quarter of 2009.) Hospitals usually asks for the Philhealth receipts. So have it ready. Original and xerox.

11. Camera. Just like what we did with JoD's delivery, I'll ask again my anaesthesiologist to take over the camera. Good shots. Some are blurry but most are great! Just wish I can wear my contacts so I can see clearly my babies when I got to deliver them.

12. Baby Book. I'll ask my OB on my next visit if I can bring one for hand and foot prints.

13. Alcohol. Never bad to bring along anywhere hehehe.

14. Washtowel. Usually I just spongebath so this is such a saviour.

15. Socks. CGH aircons sometimes tends to be crazy. Ranges to too cold and too hot. Hopefully, cold!

16. Tissue. Wipe anything away!

17. Ballpen!

18. Manual Breastpump and Breastmilk containers.

19. Adult Diaper.

20. Most important of all - Rosary!
