Darn Escargot!

I just got back from the ER of a nearby hospital. I have amoebaiasis due to my gluttony! I ate last Tuesday lunch around 2 bowls of escargot. Since it's hard to come by in Manila and my yaya just came from Aklan - I thought might as well take advantage of free escargots! Boy, do I regret that!!!

I woke up at 4am coz my stomach is really hurting - the kind that I can't hold back! When i finished visiting the loo - I got dizzy and was already throwing up! After 3 more of that gross scenario, I knocked on yaya's door and asked her to check on the children. I immediately called my MIL and waited for her to accompany me in the ER. I got scared when I threw up coz I just gave birth 2 months ago and I might be experiencing "binat".

Doctor in the ER was still sleepy but his meds did the job. I still don't feel okay, but quite better than this morning! Yes Dada, the same doctor that was so sleepy when we took DJ in about 2 years ago!

My mama also went to my house to check up on me - aw, so sweet! I hope you're always like that. And not lecturing me about me staying at home and how I raise the kids. Feels bliss being a daughter again and not a mommy all the time.

Got some great goodies today from Jeri! New items are in and I'm so excited to use them!


JD's swollen gums are getting better. He's ready to go to school tomorrow morning. Good thing it rained hard - he got to recuperate another day. No missed lessons. When I was a kid, I hate missing lessons. Means more studying and well, it's different when a teacher explains the lesson to you than just reading about it.
