Trip to the dentist

JD's been complaining for about 3 days already about his teeth. Since I've been so tired from taking care of the household and the 3 kids, I passed it off as cold sore!

Lo and behold, earlier this morning - JD is sporting a huge swelling on his right cheek! When I tried to check the inside of his mouth, the side of his gums is swollen. This is the teeth that we went in last month to be repaired(filling). I tried to contact my Mom to ask for advise - her phone is unattended(What else is new! Love you Ma!) Next I texted my ever reliable lovable pedia. He told me to go to the dentist first. If swelling does not subside, i'll consult him next.

When I texted the dentist, he can attend to JD at 5pm! And it's just freaking 9am! Que horror! JD wasn't able to eat! He was wailing all the time! At 12nn he dropped in the sofa asleep, too tired from crying.

When we finally get to see the dentist, he took out the permanent filling and replaced it with a medicated one. But we need to go back in a month's time to get permanent filling. Hopefully this will be enough. Poor JD...

We dropped by the drugstore next. Guess Mercury Drugstore is getting good business from us this past few years :P

I bought 2 new toothbrushes also for JD and DJ. JD picked out a red one for him and a blue one for DJ. He was asking me to buy a Colgate brand of toothbrush but it was too pricey for me(93php for a kids toothbrush - rip off!!!)

They're both asleep at around 8pm. Took JD's temperature at 11pm and he's got a slight fever(38.1C). I woke him up and gave him Tempra. I'll wake him up again around 1am to give him his antibiotics. Hopefully by Wednesday, the swelling will subside.
